THE ASSEMBLY BUILDS THE CAPACITY OF HONOURABLE MEMBERS IN EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP

Members of the General Assembly of the Kpone-Katamanso District, on the 12th of February, attended a training workshop organised to train then on Executive Leadership. The workshop facilitators were from the Madjiteh Institute of Negotiation (MIN).

Speaking before the commencement of the workshop, the Hon. Presiding Member, Elliot E. Aferi, commended the Assembly for such an initiative to get the Assembly Members trained on the various facets of an effective Executive Leadership. He also used the platform form to also thank the Secretariat for the past workshops organised for them. He was however, of the opinion that, like any other person, their training needs were insatiable and that, members of the House would be more appreciative if their training needs were met adequately. He called on his colleague members to make a good use of the training since it would go a long way to assist in the dispensation they find themselves in.

The District Co-ordinating Director, in his response speech also appreciated the Honourable Members most especially for the early turnout and went further to promise that, as when the need be for them to be trained in any specific area he would not hesitate to get the necessary resources to see it carried through. He also called on them to make good use of whatever they would be learning from the workshop.

At the end of the workshop, the facilitator, presented the Assembly Members with an opportunity to speak out their grievances. The Madjiteh Institute of Negotiations promised to forward their grievances in a communique to the Administrators and any other concerned Organisation.
